Sarah and Charles Modica began in the grocery business more than 50 years ago in Beeemer, Alabama. In 1988, the Modicas moved to Seaside with their son, Charles Modica, Jr. to open Modica Market, now one of the country’s leading gourmet markets serving the finest in food and wine.
