Working from  home is  an attractive idea. You can be your own boss, set your own schedule and live the lifestyle you would like to live. All the infomercials that run continuously on all the channels make it sound so easy. It is amazing how all these people have the same story. They hardly work at all and make huge piles of money for palatial homes, fancy cars and young large breasted girl friends Sounds great but I think to reality of the situation is something a little different. A quick internet  search and you'll find hundreds of complaints and very few success stories for any of these pitch men.

The undeniable truth is these guys are scammers and, if you buy  into their scheme, you are going to loose some money. It is also true that you can make money using your computer working from home. You can make money on the internet, You can even make money on eBay. But, just like any other job you have ever had, you are going to have to work for it. How much you have to work depends on what business you go into, your own skill, knowledge and resourcefulness

What do you get out of this? I'm not trying to sell you anything but I am passing along knowledge you can use to start your own internet business. I know you are asking what I am going to get out of this because, afterall, nothing is free (no such thing as a free lunch) right and something is only worth what you are willing to pay for it. That would mean that something you get for free is either worthless or, if it does have value, is not really free and you have paid for it somewhere down the line without knowing it.

What do I get out of this? Here is what I am getting out of this and it is one of the first lessons you are going to learn about an internet based business. In order to build a successful online business you need three things. First you need an idea for a web site, second you need content to fill that web site and third, you need traffic. Your idea doesn't have to be original and unique. There are plenty of copycat sites out there. What is critical is content. You are going to have to create the content that will bring people to your web site. What I am getting is content. I have put together is a web site full of information (content) that attracts visitors.

Of course content is not the only thing I'm getting out of this. You have got to monetize your content. You've got to find a way to make money from it. On Gulf Coast Info you will find links all over the site. Some are Google links, some are afffiliate links and some are direct advertising link. The Google and affiliate links earn money when you click on them. The adverttsing links are paid for by the advertiser because they think Gulf Coast Info generates traffic form their target market.

What should you do with this information? You can do nothing. If it sounds like to much work or you are to scared to jump of the deep end and take your shot at an intenet business then, by all means, do nothing. If you need to develop extra income or a way to become your own boss, use the information you find here to get started with your own busines. New articles will be appearing shortly that will help guide you through the process. Take advantage of the links that appear on Gulf Coast Info and make sure you do check out the claims of the pitchmen trying to sell you things.

For some strange reason people tend to take things they find on the internet to be the gospel truth and all to often they aren'. Don't get sucked in and don't throw away the money you have worked so hard for. If a pitch has huge numbers of negative reveiws remember they got them for a reason. Don't assume anything and think you will be the exceptio. No doubt the pitchmen will have some excuse about why the negative reviews don't mean anything. If they tell you these are just unhappy customers remember, they are unhappy because they bought into this guys scam.

Good Luck. I hope everything you find here will be of some help to you in your quest for financial freedom and independence.
